This is the begining of something strange and exciting for us...
It all started around September 07 with seeing a log house (technically stack wall) on MLS that we thought would be pretty amazing to live in. The thought came and went pretty quickly as we couldn't afford the price they were asking. A few months later (Feb 08) and we decide to check to see if the place is still there, and now the price is lower...something a little more affordable for us. We decide we better go out and at least take a look at the place or we will regret it.
The drive is around 30 Minutes out of the city, right on the edge of how far we are willing to drive to work each day, when we pulled up I think we both instantly knew that we had to have this place. Little did we know this was the beginning of a series of unfortunate events leading to us finally purchasing the farm and making us decide to start a blog so that others can either laugh at us, or find some useful information as we go through buying, moving, learning how to run a 67 Acre Hobby Farm.
